How can you preserve it? «Corà Floor Care» is the maintenance program especially developed to care for your parquet floor.

Is your parquet floor varnished or oiled? Maintenance of parquet floors varies according to the finishing. Let’s see in detail the “Corà Floor Care” program: all you need to know to care for your parquet floor!

Corà Floor care is a system developed to care for your parquet floor and for the weekly, periodic and extraordinary maintenance operations on wood floors. Our Maintenance Kit cares for your new parquet floor, whereas Wax Care protects a worn parquet floor.

Routine maintenance for natural oiled parquet floor using “Rigenera Oil”

Once the floor has been laid, under no circumstance should it be washed using water or other products for at least 5 to 7 days. Use a plastic spatula to remove any glue residue once it has dried: do not use excessive force as this may scratch the surface; after this, perform a routine maintenance followed by a periodic maintenance. This is how to do it.

Use Soft Aloe 1 to clean your floor weekly: this is a natural, transparent or pigmented detergent that cleans and nourishes the wood floor thanks to a formula that contains treatment oil. We recommend carefully following the instructions and dosage given in the packaging.

Routine maintenance:

  • Remove any dust using a vacuum cleaner with brushes/felts suitable for parquet floors;

  • Pour lukewarm water into a bucket and add the correct quantity of Soft Aloe 1 detergent (1/3 glass). Dip a cotton cloth or mop;

  • Wring out the cloth and wash the floor. This operation should be carried out once a week, if necessary;

  • Allow the floor to dry before walking on it.

Periodic maintenance:

Use Soft Aloe 2 for periodic reviving maintenance operations: this product was especially formulated to nourish and revive the surface of oiled floors. If used whenever necessary, it ensures that the surface remains even and enhances the natural beauty of parquet floors. We recommend carefully following the instructions and dosage given in the packaging.

To restore wood floors that are excessively worn out or that have been incorrectly maintained, we recommend contacting a skilled professional specialized in wood floors.

To ensure that the beauty of your floor is maintained over time, after carrying out the above described operation, just use a slightly damp cloth with a small amount of Soft Aloe 2. This should be done every 3 months; never use steam to clean the floor!
