SIZE
Sizes of the modular Teak tile are fixed: thickness 40 mm, width 570 mm, length 800 mm. The start modular tile differes in length that is half the tile: 400 mm. Modularity helps the laying process.
LAYING
The laying system of this flooring is easy and intuitive. Teak modular tiles have to be installed on a specific subfloor suitable for decking, as to allow a fast water flowing back (in case of concrete subfloor) or water drainage (in case of packed dirt floor). Tiles have a specific shape on the head so as to allow the fixing of all the laid elements. SUGGESTED FINISHES Finishes applied directly on floor boards after laying are usually intended to enhance performance and curability. It is however possible at any time, to treat fl oor boards with appropriate products by soaking, as to enhance humidity, oxidation and dulling resistance, or simply to improve waterproof level. Oiling, rather than any other type of solvent, is indicated because of the low ecological and toxicological impact.
LAYING SYSTEMS
Modular Teak tiles can be laid direclty on the draining ground or concrete subfloor It’s very important to check the ground slope in order to allow a quick water drain. In both cases it is recommended to place rubber levelers between modular tiles and subfloor in order to protect the wood from residual stagnant water.
The Corà wood floors come from woods and forests cultivated with sustainable forest management. To protect the biodiversity of animals, plants and the preservation of natural habitat.
Certification of the chain of custody of the wood that guarantees it comes from forest managed following strict environmental, social and economic Standards.
Corà Parquet lies fully within the class E1 limits, the strictest class defined by current European regulations (UNI EN 14342).
The Rigenera Natural Oil Collection finishes do not contain vol-atile gases, responsible for indoor pollution. An independent laboratory (Ecca) tested our products using gas chromatography to help determine the level of VOC (Vola-tile Organic Compounds) they contained.
The reaction to fire classification of each product is specified on the product sheet supplied at the moment of purchase. Some of our products have a default rating of Cfl-s1, which can be requested for others as an extra.
All Corà products are certified by the CE marking. This means that our products comply with the product specific European normative.
Corà Parquet shows its commitment to the consumer providing a 10-year warranty on the products Wave, Forever 1919 and all the products of the Evo Garant range. The products marked with this brand, while using raw material from foreign countries, are fully processed, treated and packed in Italy. Research, product development, production control and quality standards control are carried out directly in our factory in Altavilla Vicentina (VI). Corà has set up a research, analysis and development laboratory to provide its customers with the highest quality standards.
